This coffee is produced by more than 800 smallholder farmers in the Aricha Wore
In this natural process, coffees are soaked in water for 12 hours to remove floaters and rehydrate the seeds before processing. After the floaters are removed, cherries are dried on raised beds with a thickness of 5cm. The raised beds at the Adorsi station are position to receive high airflow and lower sunlight to provide a more even, slower drying process overall taking about 28 days to dry completely.
This Adorsi washing station is owned by the Yonis Family and they have been working with our friends over Hacea for over a decade.
